The Thurgoona Country Club Resort Golf Committee would like to advise the membership that our Golf Committee AGM has been moved from its intended date in May to coincide with our annual Presentation Day held in early December each year.
The reason for this change is as follows:
· It’s more practical to have the incoming committee commence their role at the start of the year rather than half way through the year as it stands now.
· Currently our AGM falls in May which means newly elected committee members aren’t represented in our Golf Program until it is reprinted in December each year. Elected members would have their names in our program booklet for a full 12 months as opposed to the 7 months as it currently stands.
It is anticipated that this change will also allow for a broader representation of members at the AGM. This move has been approved by the Board of the Liverpool Catholic Club.
