Dear Thurgoona members,
It was with mixed emotions that I announced last week my resignation from the position of Director of Golf at Thurgoona Country Club Resort. Having been in the golf industry for nearly 20 years, I feel it is time to try something different with my skill set, hopefully something which allows me to once again spend weekends with my family. It has been an enjoyable 7 years since I started at Thurgoona and I am proud of the successes that we have accomplished in that time. My final day in the shop will be the 18th of November.
I wish to thank all of you for your friendship and support during my time here and I leave with the knowledge that the membership at Thurgoona is one of the most involved and passionate that I have come across. With the ongoing support from the Liverpool Catholic Club and the consistent hard work of the Pro Shop, Grounds and Club staff I am certain that Thurgoona will continue to move from strength to strength.
Thanks again and I hope to continue to see many of you, perhaps even on the golf course!
