Thank you Kirk

On behalf of the Golf Committee and our members, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to our Director of Golf, Kirk Nederpelt, as he completes his last week at Thurgoona.

Kirks contribution to the smooth running of golf operations at the Club has been considerable, and his willing and cooperative approach will be missed.

During his 7 years here, Kirk has introduced a number of innovative ideas to our golfing calendar, including the very popular Border Cup series. His knowledge of the industry and his calm and professional approach to dealing with the regular challenges of running the Pro Shop and Competition Golf has been very much appreciated by our Committee, and I am sure by those that have preceded us. Personally, I would like to thank Kirk for his assistance and advice in my first year as Captain at Thurgoona.

We wish Kirk all the best with whatever challenge comes next, and look forward to seeing him tee it up more often.
