Change to course ratings from December 1st, 2019
All golfers please note that course slope and scratch ratings will change from 1 December 2019.  This re-rating has been done in conjunction with Golf NSW and Golf Australia, and prepares us for the upcoming 2020 World Handicapping System changes.
The biggest changes are for the Mens Blue and White tees, with changes to both the scratch rating and slope rating for these courses.  Please be sure to check your handicap strokes from December 1, as they may have changed due to the slope adjustments.
From late January to early February 2020 (date to be confirmed by Golf Australia), the scratch rating will impact your daily playing handicap, using the guidelines of the 2020 World Handicapping System.  Please refer to:
for more information on the 2020 World Handicapping System changes.  Note that Thurgoona Country Club Resort Golf Club will be limiting competition handicaps to the current levels of 36 for men and 45 for ladies, until further notice.
Thank you to Andrew Robb from Golf NSW for his assistance with this project.
