Attention All Competition Golfers

This decision has been made to ensure that ALL members of Thurgoona can have as much access to playing in competitions as possible throughout this current situation that we are faced with. Taking into consideration the recent advice that Victoria may be reintroducing more lock down procedures, the cancellation of many community sport competitions and on top of the record competition numbers we have already  been experiencing since late March we are left with little option but to take this step moving forward until things change.

I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding throughout this period so far and also reiterate that it is far from over despite the recent easing of restrictions in NSW. Whilst we have been extremely fortunate that golf has been able to continue on, mostly uninterrupted, the club continues to trade under very restricted circumstances. These circumstances have meant that decisions have had to be made in regards to services and staffing levels to ensure the future viability of the business and club here at Thurgoona. I ask that all members continue to respect the staff and the difficult task they are faced with through this period.

The decisions being made through this period and moving forward are being directed by club management so I request that any queries or further discussion that anyone would like to have regarding it please be directed to myself, Adam Fitzgerald. I am open and willing to hear any feedback moving forward and continue working with the committee for the betterment of golf at Thurgoona. Abuse of the staff on the golf course or in the Pro Shop will not be tolerated, nor will anti social behaviour towards other players on the golf course at anytime.
