Well, that’s a wrap on another wonderful NSW Senior Open at Thurgoona.

There isn’t a lot more we can say about our fabulous volunteer crew.  The Red Rangers were absolutely amazing again this year, and we are enormously proud of all of you, and of the great effort provided to make this event a success.

We had some new faces this year, and we were so happy to see the experienced hands back at it again, too.  From our youngest volunteer, Henry, through to our more mature and experienced legends, it was a fabulous team effort again.

We get enormous satisfaction each year, watching the different groups of golfers (and non-golfers) from across our club come together as one community with such a positive spirit of fun and service to others.

Every one of the Red Rangers deserve our thanks, and a couple should be acknowledged for going above and beyond.  Cameron Creek, Danial Huggard, and Martin Semmler, three of the leaders at our club (in more ways than one), all put in Herculean efforts to ensure that the event ran smoothly for our guests, and for our volunteers as well.  Andrew Harvey, Paul Beesley, and Andrew Williams were amazing, too, showing up before the sun each day to make sure things got off to a great start.  We could list 111 names here, as the effort contributed by all was fantastic.  Please know that we truly appreciate you all, and are incredibly proud to be part of this great club and community.

Don’t forget that you can watch the Sunday TV coverage on Kayo (www.Kayosports.com.au) to see our great golf course and all the action (and some smiling Red Ranger faces).  We will provide some links to photo albums soon, too (thanks Danial).

Enjoy a rest now…. Only 51 weeks to go to the next one.. 🙂
