Thurgoona Country Club Resort is very excited to announce the return of our Sportsman’s evening to launch the highly anticipated 2023 NSW Senior Open week which we can’t wait for!
In previous years the event has been booked out with crowd pleasers such as Sam Kekovich, Merv Hughes and Dippa all entertaining throughout the night! We didn’t want to disappoint so this year we are bringing you Cricketing Royalty Lord Ian ‘Beefy’ Botham accompanied by former teammate and captain John Emburey. We are sure no introduction is needed for this English Cricket superstar, and we look forward to welcoming him to Thurgoona.
As always there will be lots to look forward to with a good night in store. Some of our legends will also be sharing their times at the pinnacle of their games.
Guests will include, Former USA & AUS PGA Tour winner Peter Lonard, Former European & Aus tour winner Peter Fowler, Reigning NSW Senior Open Champion & multiple tour winner Richard Green and 2002 Australian Open winner Steve Allan. All Professionals will be sharing some of their more “lighthearted” moments doing battle with the sport’s biggest names in golf both nationally and internationally. This event will also be the perfect opportunity to get up close to many of Pro’s before the tournament.
Tickets have sold out each year so don’t miss out! Ticket prices are $99 per person which includes canapés on arrival, entrée, main and drinks throughout the evening.
