Border Cup 2023 update

 

The 2023 Border Cup has been rescheduled to the weekend of September 23 & 24. The change in date created some vacancies in the teams and nominations were recently accepted for members wishing to join this popular event. We had an overwhelming response with 14 members nominating for the 6 positions vacated. In fairness to all nominees, a random draw took place to determine the replacements and a second draw was then conducted to determine their team. The members drawn were:

 

David Robertson (Golf Committee inclusion) – Captains Team

John Duffy – Captains Team

Jason Furness – Captains Team

Bruce Burton – Presidents Team

Simon O’Malley – Presidents Team

Peter Nugent – Presidents Team

 

3 x emergencies were drawn and will be included if required based on shirt sizing as shirts will be ordered shortly.
