In an effort to offer a point of difference to our Sunday competitions, we are pleased to introduce Caddie Challenge as the regular Sunday competition at Thurgoona. Caddie Challenge is an individual stableford event where you win prizes based on your score independent of what others are doing. There are no grades and the higher your score, the more you win. Entry fees remain the same for members and we’re offering the Sunday Caddie Challenge events to visiting golfers (with Golflink handicaps) for a special rate of $25 per person. As in other comps, your winnings are able to be spent both in the pro shop and in the Club.
As an added incentive, the final Sunday of each month will be the Jackpot Caddie Challenge Day. All unspent prize monies from the previous Caddie Challenge events of the month will be added to the final Sunday. Those players that played at least one other Sunday in the month will be eligible for the increased Jackpot prizes (regular prizes still offered to those that didn’t play any other Sundays of the month).
As an introduction to Caddie Challenge, we are hosting a Caddie Challenge Day at Thurgoona on Saturday 29th August. Comp fees will remain at $13 and it will be an individual stableford for men and ladies.
