Congratulations to Thurgoona member Donna Anstee

Congratulations to Thurgoona member Donna Anstee for her performance in the RLGA Championships held this past week at Commercial Albury Golf Club..

Here is the official record of Donna’s achievements:

** The Vidas Ebert Jug for Best 18 holes Scratch in Divisions 1 and 2

** The Open Riverina Cup donated by Dr MacKnight for Best 54 holes Scratch in Divisions 1 – 5

** The Closed Riverina Cup donated by Mrs Lethbridge for Best 54 holes Scratch, making her the RLGA District Champion 2015.

** The GNSW Southern Cup for the District Champion 2015 in the Riverina District. (This Cup is presented in a different district each year.)

We note that Tegan Bruce won the RLGA District Championship last year so that’s 2 Thurgoona Lady winners in 2 years!!

Donna was a very popular winner and performed well and consistently over the whole event. The Thurgoona Ladies are very proud of her!

She is now eligible to compete in the GNSW Amateur Ladies Championships at Riverside Oaks next year.
