The Santa Anna couch fairway conversion proposal put forth to the Liverpool Catholic Club Board has been approved. The work will be undertaken on Wed 17th to Fri 19th December which will result in only 9 holes open for play on these days. The conversion will consist of line planting santa anna couch sprigs into the existing fairways. Irrigation requirements will require regular watering for 3 weeks after the planting which will cause some disruption and result in a wetter than normal course to ensure the sprigs take. While the new couch grass is getting established (Jan-Feb-Mar) ALL MOTORIZED CARTS will be restricted to the rough AT ALL TIMES. We thank the membership in advance for abiding by these restrictions and for your understanding of the disruption that the work may cause. We share in the excitement that this project, over time, will result in a far superior year-round playing surface.
