Dear Members,
I am writing to address a frustrating and disappointing issue regarding using motorized golf carts on the course. Over the weekend, during both club championship rounds, I observed multiple instances where carts were parked within 5 meters of the greens. The established rule is that carts should be kept at least 15 meters from greens, with most concrete paths positioned at that distance.
This behaviour, if allowed to continue, could lead to thinning turf and poor grass coverage around the greens. It is important that we all adhere to these guidelines to ensure the course remains in good condition for everyone.
Please remember that these rules are in place to protect the course and enhance the experience for all members. I appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the continued health of our greens and surrounds.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Regards,
Golf Maintenance Team
