We are hosting the 2016 Peter Crowe 4BBB Match Play Qualfier this Saturday 16th April. The event is a 4BBB Stableford (men’s and ladies). The top 16 men’s teams will qualify for the match play portion of the event. The top 4 ladies teams will join the 4 which qualified on the 30th March to comprise the ladies match play event (8 teams in total). The maximum men’s handicap for the qualifier is 27. There is a $10 entry per person for those interested in attempting to qualify. 100% of entry fees collected are directed to prizes.
Once qualified, the event is conducted as a 4BBB Match Play, with strokes allocated based on the men’s or ladies match play index, as appropriate. Handicaps for the match play portion are 3/4 (three quarters) of your daily handicap (0.5 rounded up). The low marker plays off scratch while other players receive the difference in strokes based on the match play index.
All matches must be played on the following dates (no matches may be played as a single):
Sun 24th April: Men’s Round of 16
Sat 30th April: Men’s and Ladies Quarterfinals
Sat 7th May: Men’s and Ladies Semifinals
Sat 14th May: Men’s and Ladies Finals
