Please note that we have now moved to preferred lies through the green (all areas of the course except the green of the hole you are playing and hazards) which allows relief up to 34cm (one autoscore card-length).  Note that players are not entitled to relief under this Local Rule if interference other than poor turf condition makes the stroke clearly impracticable.  This means that players may not take relief under this Rule in order to get out from behind trees etc.  It is the marker’s responsibility to enforce this aspect of the Local Rule.
