Thurgoona Premier League – Summer Series
Teams have now been accepted for the summer series of Thurgoona Premier League. The 7 teams are:

Horace’s Heroes
Spec Savers
Angry Aardvarks
The 6 B’s
Drawshank Redemptions
And last seasons champions, Shooter McGavins.
The rounds for this season will be conducted on the following dates:
Rd 1 – 9/12/17
Rd 2 – 23/12/17
Rd 3 – 13/1/18
Rd 4 – 20/1/18
Rd 5 – 27/1/18
Rd 6 – 10/2/18
Semi Finals – 17/2/18
Grand Final – 24/2/18
All players registered need to pay their entry fee ($45) to the Pro Shop as soon as possible, prior to Round 1.
This is promising to be a very competitive season with some new teams (including our first all-female team), and some old stagers. As previous, there will be prizes for the winning team, runners-up, and a Best & Fairest. At the end of the season we will host a presentation after golf with pizzas and the Best & Fairest vote count.
I am looking forward to another fun series with plenty of banter around the club, along with the growing rivalries. If you have any queries about the format / scoring, please see me around the club.
