The results over the weekend were as follows;
Division 1 played at Howlong
Thurgoona defeated Corowa by 4.5 to 0.5.
2 of the matches went down to the last hole with Simon Hoppe managing to win 1 up driving the 18th green and making a birdie. Mark Emerson also drove it close to the 18th green and birdied the last hole to square his match.
Thurgoona is undefeated through 3 rounds and will play Yarrawonga next week at Corowa in a top of the table clash.
Division 2 played at Mansfield
Thurgoona (1) defeated Yarrawonga (1) by 3 matches to 2. Truman Addison played an outstanding match to win 8/7. Marty Semmler won 3/2, Danial Huggard and Greg Daniel both squared their matches. Great win Thurgoona.
Wodonga defeated Thurgoona (2) by 3 matches to 2 in another close result. I’m sure Mike Lane and his team will taste victory soon.
