Beyond Blue Fundraiser Day – $613.75 – Thank you<\/i><\/b>.<\/b><\/div>\n

Saturday 21st January saw our annual fundraiser for Beyond Blue, in conjunction with the Kirkman Cup. With wonderful support from the members, and a fantastic effort from the Pro Shop team, <\/i>we have raised a total of $613.75.<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
This money was raised from sales of wristbands, donation boxes, and from the generous support from the ladies and men’s Golden Hole contributions.\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
On behalf of the Golf Committee, and personally, I’d like to thank the members of Thurgoona Country Club Resort Golf Club for their wonderful generosity and assistance in raising money for this fantastic organisation.\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
Beyond Blue offer resources and support for those suffering from mental health issues, depression, anxiety and suicide.\u00a0 For more information, see their website: \u00a0<\/i>www.beyondblue.org.au<\/i><\/b><\/a>.\u00a0 Further donations can be made at: \u00a0<\/i>https:\/\/www.beyondblue.org.au\/get-involved\/make-a-donation<\/i><\/b><\/a> , or at the donation boxes located on the main bar at the Club.<\/i><\/div>\n

In honour of the late Tannah Kirkman, the men’s Scratch, Handicap, and Masters Pennant teams play for the Kirkman Cup after the close of Pennant season, and in conjunction with the Beyond Blue day.\u00a0 This year’s winners are the Masters team, who were too strong for the Handicap and Scratch teams, with a combined score of 113 (38, 38, 37).<\/i><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
Again, thank you to all who have supported this great cause.\u00a0 I look forward to a bigger and better event in 2018.<\/i><\/div>\n
