I really do not know where to start \u2013 what an amazing week, what a wonderful event, what a fantastic group of people that I all consider my friends.<\/div>\n

I must say a big thank you, before I go on, to my wonderful wife Veronica.\u00a0 Her effort in helping to bring this event and all of these people together has been amazing.\u00a0 It could not happen without her.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
I know it has been said already, but I am immensely proud of the outstanding team effort from each and every one of our Blue Brigade for 2019.\u00a0 You have all made such a wonderful contribution to the event, and have helped to make it an extraordinarily memorable occasion.<\/div>\n

In some very challenging conditions, with all manner of weather to contend with, you were exceptional.\u00a0 There were no gripes or complaints, just a wonderful willingness to help and to make a fantastic event possible.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/div>\n

We had a great champion this year, in our winner Brad Burns, and I know he is keen to come back and defend (even if it is just to win a bet to make us all wear QLD Maroon the following year).\u00a0\u00a0Congratulations<\/span>\u00a0to him on an outstanding performance.<\/div>\n

We must acknowledge the great foresight and support of Michael Coffey OAM and Liverpool Catholic Club.\u00a0 Their willingness to drive (and fund) this event has created a great experience for us all.\u00a0 Adam Fitzgerald and Dean Lewis have produced a fantastic environment in the club and on the golf course, in which we can all take great pride as members of Thurgoona Country Golf Club Resort.<\/div>\n
