The area is now marked with Red Stakes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_gmail-MsoNoSpacing\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_gmail-MsoNoSpacing\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The Penalty Area is approximately 85 metres from the front of the green and has been deemed as G.U.R in the past.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_gmail-MsoNoSpacing\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_gmail-MsoNoSpacing\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">This decision was made based on advice from Golf NSW, as it was determined that this area was identical to other Penalty Areas on the course and consistency should be maintained.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_gmail-MsoNoSpacing\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_gmail-MsoNoSpacing\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0Other areas of the course that were referenced for this decision were the 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0hole and 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0hole that each have similar penalty areas running through the hole.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_gmail-MsoNoSpacing\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Effective from November 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a02022<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Penalty Area \u00a0 The Golfing Committee would like to advise that at the committee meeting held on Monday November 7th\u00a02022, a decision was made to introduce a new Penalty Area on the 15th\u00a0Hole, effective immediately.
