Are you a team player?\u00a0 Or are you shelf-ish, with hanger management issues?\u00a0 You can tell me \u201cIt\u2019s Narnia business!\u201d, but I think you may be a closet competitor.\u00a0 If so, it\u2019s time to get your team together for the 2023 Wardrobe World Cup Premier League season.<\/p>\n
The format is similar to previous years \u2013 6 person teams (male, female, or mixed) compete on selected weekend (Saturday and Sunday – you can play either day) stableford events over the course of a season, with the best 3 individual scores counting for your team each round.\u00a0 Teams play off in a home and away style season, with a short final series to determine the champions.\u00a0 There are great prizes for season winners and runners-up, as well as MVP with a Best & Fairest Medal count, Brownlow-style.<\/p>\n
The 2021 champs are the Cockatoos and they will be keen to defend their title.<\/p>\n
The season costs $40 per player, with some costs going to Golf Premier League for administration, but all remaining proceeds go into prizes and the end-of-season presentation night function.<\/p>\n
Get your team together \u2013 fill out the team registration form in the Pro Shop before 30 April.<\/p>\n
Proposed dates for the season are as follows: 27 May, 3 Jun, 24 Jun, 1 Jul, 8 Jul, 22 Jul, 29 Jul, 5 Aug and 26 Aug.\u00a0 These dates may be subject to change.\u00a0 The total number of team entires may be limited, so act quickly to get your registrations in.<\/p>\n
