In the past, the committee has hosted a Jarrod Lyle Day and Beyond Blue Day. With the amazing support of our members, the committee has raised over $20,000 over the past 4 &#8211; 5 years for these organisations.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A unanimous decision was made at the last committee meeting to replace the Jarrod Lyle Day with a Border Cancer Centre Day, with all funds raised being passed directly on to the Border Cancer Centre. Whilst we all wished that a facility like this was not needed, unfortunately, many of us have had a loved one or friend need this facility. The committee felt that having funds stay local to support our members and families that need this facility was of utmost importance.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The event will be held on Saturday October 12th 2024. On the day, we will still encourage participants to wear the colour yellow.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">At this time, we are seeking support in the form of prize donations to be used for raffles and auctions.
